CONGREGATIONAL UNION.
By Telegraph—Press Association. pUNEDINj February 6. At the' Congregational Union, tonight, the Rev. W. Day, gave his presidential' address, the subject being "Commission and Commissions — Two Sides of the Church's Life." Injthe course of his remarks hejmade some reference to what is known as new theology, and'said a fresh stater ment of the Christian doctrine was needed. It was: evident that the Christian,, Church should re-read its Bible, its creed; and its message in the clearer light God had given. Not to do that was* dishonest, and in the end suicidal.
