The had pencilled the dates. February 18th and 19th, for their Masterton visit, but they now find that their phenomenal success in the South Island warrants them in extending their New Zealand tour until May. Although the exact date has not yet been fixed, Mr Tait says that the Band will definitely visit Masterton. He has promised to let Mr McLeod know, later what date the Band will visit Masterton. - , £ Mr Tait says that the Banc} gave an afternoon and evening performance at Dunedin, and the attendance fairly astonished the bandsmen, no less than 30,000 people being present. As far as Dunedin was concerned, the Band could easily have played for another week to crowded houses. The Band will be in Wellington from February 11th to 16th, and will then immediately go bark to the South Island to complete that portion of the tour, after which they will come on to Masterton.
