METEOROLOGICAL.
Mr J. C. Boddington reports:— Rain fell at Upper Plain on eight days in January. Maximum in 24 hours, 2.89 inches, on 14th; minimum, six points, on 17th; total for month, 5.36 inches; as against 1.66, 1.77, 2.05 in January, 1904, 1905. and 1906, respectively.
