MINING NEWS.
By Telegraph—Press Association. GREYMOUTH, January 29. The New Alpine Goldmining Company, Ltd., has been floated. At' a meeting of directors, applications for over 20,000 shares were allotted. The, directors are visiting the mine forthwith and intend to immediately commence active operations. The brokers report that applications for shares are still coming in from all parts of the colony. The, Takaka Sluicing Company report a return of twenty ounces of gold for fourteen days' sluicing.
