By Telegraph—Press Association

WELLINGTON, Jan. 30. The Shipmasters' Association of New Zealand has decided "that the action of the Premier in appointing the Secretary of the Engineers' Association as a delegate to the Imperial Maritime Conference does not meet with the approval of the members." The Association has declined representation by Mr Hjslop, and is requesting Mr James Mills, managing director of the Union Company, to represent the interests of its members at the conference.
