UTILITY CLUB'S COMPETITION. By Telegraph—Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, January 21. During the* last week 1,478 eggs, were laid by the'hens taking part in the Utility Club's Egg-laying Competition, at Liricoln College, bringing the total to date to 44,529.
