VOLCANO ACTIVE IN HAWAII. i LONDON, January 18.^. News ' has been, received that the , volcano in the island of Hawaii, 13,650 feet hi£h, and which was responsible for notable eruptions in 1843, 1859, 1868, 1877 and 1899, is sendingjforth a second flow of lava I i half a mile wide. '• An earthquake was experienced at Oban, in Scotland, the shock being accompanied by a loud report and prolonged rumblings. The movement was from east to west. Ships at sea were also affected as if they were passing over sand. SHOCKS IN ITALY. Received January 20, 4.31 p.m. ROME, .January 19. An undulating earthquake occurred, yesterday, at Tolmezzo, yin Italy. . The shock caused a great panic among the people.
