THE MASTERTON BOROUGH GAS WORKS LOANS REPAYMENT LOAN, 1907. is hereby given that at a J3l Special Meeting of the Maaterton Boroußh Council, held ■at the Borough Council Chambers, Chapel-street, on tiie 11th day of January, 1907.it was resolved : In pursuance end exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by " The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900," " The Local Bodies Loan Act, 1901," and their amendments, and all other Acts and powers (if any) enabling it in that behalf, the Masterton Borough Council hereby resolves Br Special Order as follows : - 1. To borrow the sum of £II,OOO, repayable on the 28th day of February, 1907, for the purpose of paying off the balance a loan of £12,500 raised by the Masterton Borough Council under the above Acts - £1,500 being already provided for by sinking funds or otherwise. 2. That for the purpose of providing interest and other charges On a loan of £II,OOO authorised to be raised by the Masterton Borough Conncil under the above Acts for the repayment of a loan of £12,500 raised under the provisions of the above Acts, lesH the sum of £1,500 provided for by sinking funds and otherwise, the said Masterton Borough Council hereby makes and levies by special order a Special Rate of seven-sixteenths of a penny in the £ upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Masterton, and that such special rate shall be an annual recurring rate and be payable half-yearly on the First Day of July and the First Day of January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of Ten Years commencing on the 28th February, 1907, or until the loan is fully paid oil, the first instalment being payable on the First Day of July, 1907., The above resolutions will be submitted lor confirmation a< a special meeting of the Council, to be held on the Twelfth Day of February, 1907, at the Borough Council Chambers, Chapel Street.
