N.Z. AMATEUR ATHLETIC MEETING.
— —— The team to represent the Wellington Province at .the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association's Eighteenth Championship Meeting, to be held at Christchurch on February 21st and 23rd, will be chosen from the following (the team will probably consist often members):— Prendeville, 1 mile and 3 miles handicaps; Fisher, 220 yds and 440 yds handicaps; Goodbehere, 100 yds, 220 yds and 440 yds handicaps; Kerr, 1 mile and 3 mile walks; Henderson, 100 yds, 220 yds, and 440 yds; J. Bradbury, £ mile and 1 mile handicaps; J. Wilton, 100 yds, 220 yds and 440 yds handicaps; W. H. Pollock, 220 yds and 440 yds handicaps and long jump; P. J. Fitzgerald, 1 mile and 3 mile walks; L. McKay, hurdles, high jump, long jump, pole jump and putting the shot; McKay, i mile and, 1 mile handicaps; Dawson, 100 yds, 220 yds arid 440 yds handicaps; Thompson, 440 yds and 880 yds handicaps; Craig, hurdles and long jump; Cook, high jump and long jump; Thomassen, long jump, putting the shot, and throwing the hammer; Halligan, hurdles. The champion shield is at present held by Otago. j
