RAILWAY APPEAL BOARD.

The appeal of Alexander Allan, workshops manager at Petone, against his classification on the Railway Department list, was heard, to-day, before the Railway Appeal Board. The contention of appellant was that an increase of pay with promotion from the sixth to fifth grade had been wrongly withheld from him. The Board will communicate its decision to the Minister.,
