COMPETITION IN FREIGHTS.
Received January 17, 9.45 p.m. NEW YORK, Jan. 17. The Supreme Court has dismissed the case wherein a firm of exporters in New York prosecuted the Union-Castle and other shipping complanies for combining to restrain trade for the purpose of suppressing competition in freights to South Africa.
