The sum of £3,135 was put through the machine, as against £3,141 for the corresponding day last year. Results: — Croydon Handicap, 7 furlongs.— Secret 1, Manjess 2, Rosebloom 3. Casque was scratched. Won a fine race by a short head. Time, lmin 32 1-5 sec. Dividend, £6 2s. Longford Hack Handicap 6 furlongs.—Royal Shell 1, Magical 2, Hornet 3. All started. Won easily. Time, lmin 19 3-ssec.
