The Ashburton Borough Council has passed a resolution protesting against Geraldine and that portion of the district south of Rangitata River being included in the Ashburton electorate, there being no community of interest between' the hew portions of the electorate and the old electorate. The resolution will be forwarded to the Representation Commission.
