NAPIER WOOL SALES.

The second wool sale of the season was held, to-day, when a record was established in the number ;of bales offered, the prices realised and the number of outside buyers present. A total of nearly 12,000 bales were offered. Bidding was spirited throughout, and prices ranged as follows:—Fine light?crossbred 12Jd to 13Jd, medium crossbred lid" to 12£ d, coarse crossbred IOJd to 12d, fair halfbred 12d to 13Jd, bush-stained crossbred lOd to lid, bulky pieces BJd to 9£d, averages pieces 7£d to B£d, locks 4Jd to s£d, bright lambs 12d to 13d, average lambs lOd to lid.'
