DEFENCE OF THE EMPIRE.
A NEW ORGANISATION FORMED. Received January 15, 8.31 a.m. LONDON, January 14. The Dukes of Norfolk and Bedford, the Right Hon. Walter Long, Sir George Taubman-Goldie, Field-Mar-shal Sir George White, General Sir Redvers Buller, and others have formed a [non-political National Defence Association. The association will deal mainly with the land forces and the defences of Britain's oversea dominions. Branches are being formed throughout the Empire.
