MARINE ENQUIRY.
LOSS OP THE ELVERLAND. By Association. AUCKLAND, January 12. The nautical enquiryinto the foundering of, r the barquentine Elverland, near the Three Kings, on December 29th, was held, yesterday, before Mr C. C. Kettle, S.M., and Captains Reid and Campbell,,, Nautical Assessors. After hearing the - evidence the Court came to the conclusion that there had not been negligence on the part of the vessel's. officers, and there was no reason to suspend certificates.
