SEISMIC DISTURBANCES.

LONDON, January 11. Cablegrams from Honolulu state that Mauna Loa is erupting flames visible for hundreds of miles. Streams of lava are flowing down its sides. Repeated earthquake shocks have been felt in the island. (Mauna Loa is one of the highest peaks in the Pacific, reaching an altitude of 13; 760 feet. There have been many noted eruptions, the last serious one being 'in 1899.)
