IttJOTICE i<s hereby piven. that at a Ll Special Meeting of the Maptsrton Borough Counci 1 , held at the Borough Council Chambers, on the 11th day of January, 1907, it was retolved g£in pursuance < nd exercise of the powers vested in it in thai behalf by " The Municipal Corporations Act. 1900," " The Local Bodies Loan Act, 1901," and their amendments, a'd all other Acts and powers (if any) enabling it in that behalf, the Master- 4 ton Borough Council hereby resoives Bj Special Order as follows : -- 1. To borrow the sum of £II,OOO, repayable on the 28th day of February, 1907, for ihe purpose of paying eff the balance A 1 >an of £12,500 raised by the Ma. terton B r r iugh Council under the above Acts - £1,500 being already provided for by sinking funds or otherwise. 2. That for the purpose of pioviding intemt and other charges' on a loan of £II,OOO authorised to be raised by the Ma«terton Borough Conncil under the abo ?e Acts for the repayment of a loan of . £12,500 laised utider the provisions of the above Acts, lest! the sum of £1,500 provided for by sinking funds and otherwise, the said Masletton Borough Council hereby makes and levies by special order a Special Rate of seven-sixteenths of a penny in the £ ui on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Masterton, and that such special rate shall be an annual recurriog rate and be payable half-yearly on the First Day of July and the First Dhv of January in each and every year dating the currency of Bueh loan, being a peril d of Ten Years commencing on the 28th February. 1907, or until the loan is fully paid off, the first instalment being payable on the First Day of July, 1907: The abovo resolutions will be submitted for confirmation a« a special meeting of the Council to be held on the Twelfth Day of February, 1907, at the Borough Council Chambers, Chapel Street.
