FOXTON ACCEPTANCES. Acceptances for the first day's handicaps, and entries for the Maiden Hack Hurdles, Trial Hack Race and Maiden Hack Scurry, to be run at Foxton on 22nd and 23rd January, will close with the Secretary, Mr A. Keith, at Foxton, at 9 p.m., on Tuesday next. FORTY-MILE BUSH ATHLETIC SOCIETY. The annual sports meeting of the Forty-Mile Bush Athletic Society will be held on Thursday, March 21st, for which an exceptionally liberal programme has been arranged. The prize list totals £79 in cash prizes, of which £l9 10s has been allotted to the Bush Handicap, with £7 and £5 10s for the Mile and Half Mile respectively. The full programme will shortly be available, and may be had on application to the hon. secretary, Mr F. L. Walkly, Hamua. WHAREAMA SPORTS. The Whareama Sports Society will hold their annual sports meeting on the Langdale Domain, on Friday next. A programme of twenty-five events has been arranged, including foot races, vehicle driving, hunters and stockmen's competitions, tilting, and quoits match. The secretary, Mr H. Morrison, and an energetic committee have the ground in good order, and all arrangements are complete for an enjoyable outing.
