Wheat, 3s lid per bushel (firm). Oats, prime feed. 2s 7d per bushel. Barley, feed, 3s 3d per bushel. Linseed, whole, £ls per ton. Pollard, £6 5s to £6 10s per ton. Bran, £5 to £5 5s per ton. Pig meal, £5 per ton. Prime oaten sheaf chaff, £4 per ton, at rails. Potatoes, Kidneys, £7 10s, Reds, £5 per ton (market steady). Onions, Sydney, £8 per ton. Butter, separator, 9d; dairy pats, 8d (slow of sale). Eggs, fresh, Is 4d (brisk enquiries). Porkers, 60's to 100's, 4Jd per lb. Bacon, sides, 7d; hams, BJd; rolls, 8d per lb. Cabbage, Is to Is 6d per sack (slow of sale). Carrots, table, 6d per dozen. Rhubarb, 3s per dozen. Green. peas, 4d per peck. Tomatoes, 7s per half-case (good demand). Black currants, 5s 6d per half-case. Plums, 3s 6d per halfcase. Peaches, 3s 6d to 4s per halfcase. Apricots, 6s 6d per halfcase. Cooking apples, 4s per case. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Wellington, report having sold within the last few weeks the following pastoral properties:—Account Messrs Finlay, Muir and Co., Wellington, their Waipaoa Estate, Gisborne, containing 34,000 acres, to Mr John Clark, Gisborne. Account Messrs Rathbone Bros., Waipawa, 1,431 acres at Levin, to Mr J. R. McDonald, Levin. Account Mr J. Hammond Murray, 454 acres at Haywards, to Mr H. D. Buchanan, Kumeroa.
