NORTH WAIRARAPA BENEVOLENT SOCIETY.
MEETING OF TRUSTEES. The monthly meeting of the Trustees of the North Wairarapa Benevolent Society was held yesterday afternoon, there being present .'—Messrs R. T. Holmes (chairman), E. Feist, and Mrs Nicholls. Mr Holmes was re-elected Chairman for the ensuing year. With regard to the case of an elderly man with failing eyesight, it was decided to allow him 10s per .week. The man had refused to go to the Wellington Hospital to undergo treatment for his eyes. ' It was decided to admit an old man, aged 73 years, who had been in the county for 35 years, to the RenallSolway Home. A woman, whose husband was suffering from a paralytic stroke, was granted 20s per week until the next meeting. , The pay-sheet amounting to £29 19s j2d ordinary charitable aid, and £l2 12s 4d on account of the Renall-Sol-way Home, was passed for payment.
