Miki Miki road—The unformed portion of the above road, south of Chamberlain's boundary, has been formed preparatory to metalling. Thompson for the erection of the structure for the sum of £l3. ■Ruamahanga Suspension Bridge—Mr Robinson, the District Road Engineer, has intimated that there is a grant of £46 which he would be willing to hand over to this Council provided they undertook the painting and screwing up of the structure. I would respectfully suggest that the matter be considered. The grant, supplemented with a like amount, would paint the bridge with three coats and do the necessary screwing up.
