BRITAIN'S HERDS.
' Received January 8, 10.50 p.m. LONDON, January 8. ' The Marquis of Londonderry, speaking- at the Agricultural Dinner at Darlington, said that Britain's herds for the first time exceeded seven million head. He strongly hoped that the Government would prevent the possibility of the importation of diseased cattle.
