GAMBLERS EXPELLED.
Received January 8, 12.50 a.m. PARIS, January 7. Forty professional gamblers, mostly Belgians, including Marguet, formerly a waiter at Ostend, and the joint owners of several clubs in Paris, have been expelled from the country. It is estimated that their gains amounted to a million sterling per annum. Clubs were started under the Association's law without police "supervision. Many society women were among the victims.
