Received January 7, 10 a.m. LONDON, January 6. Mr Walter Kirkby, the New Zealand tenor, sang before the Royal gathering at Chatsworth House, Derbyshire, the seat of the Duke of Devonshire, with great success, • (Mr Kirkby is an Aucklander, who went Home to study music about six years ago).
