NEW PLYMOUTH, Jan. 7. The finals in connection with the Taranaki Tennis Tournament are/as follow: — Men's Champion Open Singles.— A. G. Wallace beat Dr Keith (Auckland) ,6-1, 6-2, 6—4, Men's Champion. Doubles. —Wallace and Dickie beat Dr Keith and Grossman (Auckland), 4 —Q, B—6, 6—3, 2—6, 6-2.' Ladies' "Champion Singles.— Miss Powdrell beat Miss Udy (Auckland), I 6—2, 7 5, 6—l. Ladies' Champion Doubles.—--Misses , Gray and Udy (Auckland) beat Misses Thomson and Berry, 6—3, 6 —o. Combined Champion Doubles.— Miss Powdrell and Dickie beat Miss Gray and Pcurse, 6 4, 6-2. Men's Handicap Singles. --- Dr Fookes (20) beat W. Pearse, Canterbury (owe 10), 60—58. j Men's Handicap Doubles.--Dickie >, and Wallace beat Medley and Weir, 60—51. Ladies' Handicap Singles.— Miss Gray (Auckland) beat Miss Thomson, 40—28. Ladies' Handicap Doubles.- -Misses Dickie beat Misses Gray and Udy, 40—31.
