A SERIOUS FIRE.
Received January 3, 9.58 p.m. "B LONDON, January 3. A large building containing the whole of the camp's equipment for the Southern Command was burned at Portsmouth.
The damage amounts to many thousands of pounds. The ordinance store, which was full of shells and the Unique Museum near the gun wharf were seriously imperilled.
