METEOROLOGICAL.

Mr J. C. Boddington reports as follows :--Rain fell on six days in December. Maximum fall, 77 points on December 4th; minimum, 2 points on December 9th; total for month, 1.24 inches, as against 3.42 inches in 1905, and 5.81 inches in 1904., The total rainfall for the year was 40.84 inches, as against 51.32 inches in 1905 and 48.98 inches in 1904. The highest rainfall in any one month for the past year was 5.98 inches in July, 5.69 inches in May, and 5.68 inches in February. In 1905 the highest rainfall was 9.36 inches in June, 8.02 inches,*in September, 7.22 inches in October, and 5.25 inches in May. In 1904 9.34 inches fell in October, 5.81 inches in December, 4.97 inches in March, 4.93 inches in June, and 4.61 inches in August.
