NEW YORK LIFE.
CHARGES AGAINST EXOFFICERS.
NEW YORK, December 29. The Grand Jury has indicted Perkins, formerly vice-president of tbe New jYork Life Office, and Fairchild for forgery in the third degree, and for misrepresenting the New York Life Insurance securities with a view to evading the insurance law. The Grand Jury admit that the offences were committep for no personal profit, and were only intended to benefit policy-holders.
