A man namcl Ernest Morgan, aged 19, a station hand, was killed, yesterday tnoruiuy, by falling from his bicyclejWhilsfc deluding a hill near Glengarry Station, owing to "his losing control of the :nuabine. At the inquest, this morn ing, a verdiot of accidental death was returned.

A little gi?l named Doris Evelyn MoCarten, aged nine years, was bnrned to death at Otahnhu, owing to her clothes catching fire. It is surmised that the fire was caused by a passer by oareleeely throwing down a lighted match, which must have ignited the child's olotbing.
