RESULTS OP MILK TESTS. The milking competitions in connection with the Masterton A. and P. Association were carried outlast; week under the supervision .of stewards appointed by the Assooiaton. In the class for tbe best dairy cow there were 11 entries, and for the class "desfc dairy heifer" there was only one entry. The results are as follows: Beat dairy cow.- -A. McLachlan— Weight of milk, 451bs; test, 4.8; points allowed from date of calving, 9.3, total, 102.3; first. John Mc-Kenzie—-Weight ot milk, 501bs; te.st, 4.1; points allowed from date of calving, 9.4; total," 100.4; second. John Morris—Weight of milk, 44%1b5; test, 4.6; points allowed for date of calving, 4.9; total, 95.6; third. Mr J. A. Dudson's heifer was the only entrant in tb« best heifer class. Tbe weight of the milk was 33)^lbs; test, 4; points allowed for date of calving, 3.8; total, 77.3.
