M. STOLYPIN DECORATED. Received December 21, 8.5 a.m. ST. PETERSBURG, Dec. 20. The Czar has decorated M. Stolypin, the Premier, in reward for his exemplary zeal and self-sacrificing service. The decoration is considered significant, as M. Stolypin is the mainstay of Liberalism in the Russian Cabinet.

ATTEMPT TO KILL A COLONEL. Received December 21, 8.5 a.m. ST. PETGRSBUKG, Deo. 20. Two bombs were thrown at Colonel Cbazanowski, Chief of the Police at Lodz. The explosion wrecked the carriage, injured the colonel, and also mortallp wounded the driver, a policeman and two dragoons. The perpetrators escaped.
