THE SERVIAN THRONE.
Received December 19, 10.23 p.m LONDON, December 29.
M. Mijatovitch, late Servian Minister in Britain, states that envoys from Belgrade twice within a year visited London to enlist his aid in inducing Prince Arthur of Connaught to accept the Servian Throne when King Peter had been persuaded to abdicate peacably. M. Mijatovitch refused to assist in the matter, declaring that King Edward would never consent to the acceptance of the offer.
