BUSH FIRES.

A series of bash fires raged round Inveroargill ou Tuesday, when the heat was intense, and a northerly gale raged. The New Zealand Pine Company lost a mile and a quarter of tramway at Mabel Bush, and four chains* of tramway and a bridge at Spar Busb.
No damage to ; houses or bdme steads is yet reported.
