INFECTIOUS DISEASES HOSPITALS.
Eeplying to Messrs E. G. Eton aud F. G. Moore, chairman and secretary, respectively, of the Wairarapa District Hospital Board, who •waited on the Minister in charge of hospitals, on Saturday, in connection with a difficulty in which the Board finds itself regarding the erection of infectious diseases hospitals, the Minister stated that a clause had been prepared for insertion in the Bill introduced last session providing for cases of this kind, but that it was considered important that the Bill in question (dealing only with hospitals for consumptives) should be passed at once, and/as the introduction of the clause in question would have imperilled its passage, the clause was withdrawn.
