THE GOVERNMENT AND THE CENTRE PARTY. Received December 17, 9.20 a.m. BERLIN, December 16. Prince Bulow, Imperial' Chancellor, in the course of a speech, said the Government was determined to abandon the method of granting repeated concessions to the Centre Party, and be rid of them and their vote. THE ELECTORAL CAMPAIGN. Received December 17, 10.10 p.m. BERLIN, December 17. The electoral campaign has energetically begun. Germany's Centre Party and the Poles and Socialists are acting together. The Government are making overtures to the Liberals and Socialists, and have issued a cogent indictment against the Kaiser's policy and its cost.
THE REICHSTAG ELECTIONS. Received December 17, 10.30 p.m. BERLIN; December 17. The Reichstag elections are fixed for January 25th, 1907.
