KEEBLE BENEFIT CONCERT.
There was a fiur attendance ai, the concert in aid of tbe Keeble Relief Fund in the Town Hall last evening. An attractive programme was presented, and the items met with the approval of Ibo andienoe. Mr W. lg«ulden was in fine voice, and sang "Champion of the King" with capical effect. The same singer appeared in a duet, entitled "Larboard Watch," with Mr Johnston, and the well-known song was excellently rendered. Mr Johnston's fine tenor voice was hoard to advantago in "My Pretty Jane," and he was encored. JUnch of Mr Harry Hall's comic songs were encored. Mr 11. Fawoott received an enuore for his rendering of "In the Pale Moonlight." "Happy Song," by Mrs Te Tau, was an ox«eUent item, and lu response to a vociferous recall, she gave "Home, Sweet Home" in Maori. Misses E. Judd, Ettie Joyce, and Messrs A. Nicol and P Hnnn als) contributed songs and were deservedly uppluuded. Several selections were well ployed by tho Masterton Orchestral Society. An exhibition of skating was given by Mr f. Coles. 'lho anuornpaniinents were played by Misses E. Smith, W. Jones and Mr S. A. llallard.
