MASTERTON A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.

MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of tho general commitee of the Masterton A. and .P Association was held on SBt* urday. There were present—Messrs R. Gray (ohairman), G. 0. Summerell, 0. E. Daniell, P. 0. Lewis, J. McGregor, D. McGregor, junr., T. P. Lett J. 0. Cooner, J. Staokey, D. Oaselberg, J. D. CruioKshank, O. 0 .Cooper, Joseph Morris, b. Rayner, and J. Strang. It was deoided to bold the milking competition on December 14th, and the following were appointed to supervise the milking:—Messrs R. Gray, J. W. Stuokey, H. Si Moss, B. Rayuer, J. D, Cruickahank, W. D. Watson, J.' McGregor, P. Cotter, G. 0. Summerell, J. 0. MoKillop, J. Oolway, R, J. Dagg, and the Secretary. Masses Daniell, Lewis, Oaßelberg and the Secretary were appointed a committee to arrange for scales for weighing the milk at the competition. The Finance Committee reported a dr. balanoe of £384 Oa Bd. Tho Secretary was authorised to pay wages weekly in connection with work on the grandstand. Accounts amounting to £3O 2a 5d were reoommended for payment. The report was adopted. The Ground Committee recommended that the raising of the roof and ra-adjustment of the floor and seats in the new grandstand be lett in the Hands of Messrs McGregor and Daniell; that no action be taken in reference to shifting the high-boarded fenoe on the east side of the old ground for the present or until such time as the cost of the work now in band was arrived at; that the consideration of the question of forming and gravelling a footnath in front of the grounds be left to the incoming committee; that Mr *G. Luck, New Plymouth, be given sole right for a merry goround and "Ocean Wave" at the ooming Show ; that the rules and regulations for the government of side-shows on the grounds, as submitted by the Secretary, be continued. The report was adopted. It was decided to hold a special meeting of the Luncheon Committee on the 15th inat. at 1 p.m. Messrs W. G. Lamb,, J. Compton, J. Graham (Opakl), H. P. ' Coom were elected members of the Association. The Secretary was instructed to report on the question of installing the telephone to the grounds.
