Suppliers aooounts for the month amounted to £1,247 Is 6d, the highest amount paid to any one supplier being £69 9s. The following are the tests for the mouth of November of the creameries supplying the Masterton Co-operative D*iry Factory :—Rangi tumau, hißbesfe 4.1, lowest 3.4, average 3.65; Nikau, highest 3.8, lowest 3.3, average 3.58; Mangatraire, highest 3.7, lowest 3, average 3.46. Ihe Independent Labour League in Auckland is endeavouring to secure the 00-operation of the Trades and Labour Council-in runniut? a combined Labour ticket for the municipal eleotious next April. The League is hopeful of returning a majority of its nominees. The Committee appoiuted to improve the track to Mt. Holds worth have everything iu readiness to commence the work cf clearing the track, and they are confident of having the route open before the Christmas holidays. Mr J. Yarr, Secretary of the Masterton Irish Envoy Reception Committee, has been notified oy the Wellington Committee that the Irish Envoys, Messrs Devlin and Donovan, will be able to speak iu Masterton on Saturday, Deoember 22ud. The local Committee are accordingly making arrangements for a public meeting to be held in the Town Hall on that date.

Archdeacon Williams, of Te Aute, has announced that if tbe people of Palmerston North can collect £SOO to pay for the All Saints' Children's Home there, bo will give a sum of £2OO. Tbe two amounts will completa the purchase. A meeting of tbe ladies' and men's committees in connection with the Y.M.C.A. picnic, on Boxing Day, will be held in tbe Y M.C.A. Booms, this ( evening, to make further arrangements for the picnic. The Directors of the Masterton Co operative Dairy Company met on Saturday. There were present:— Messrs W. Perry (chairman), R. Wilton, J. Baron, J. O. Ewington, H. C. Bertelsen and R. Kibblewhite. It was decided to request tbe Nikau suppliers to have the create delivered at their creamery by 8 a.m., so that the cream may be brought to the Masterton factory by the 1 p.m. train. It was resolved, to hold over tbe question of ailotiug ehares on the butter fat prinoiple until next meeting. Messrs* Ewington and Sykes were appointed to attend tbe meeting of delegatesfrom the various dairy companies in tbe Wairarapa on Thursday next to oonsider tbe proposed amend.ment to tbe Companies Act.
In tbe Hospital Grounds, day afternoon, the Maaterton Orchestral Society rendered a select programme of- music, which was greatly appreciated by the patients of the institution as well as a large-, number of visitors who w'ere present. Mr A. W. Hogg, M.H.R.,, Chairman of the Hospital Trustees,, on behalf of the Trustees, complimented the nursing and medical staff on the good work they were doing, and thanked tbe Orchestral Sooiety for the exoellent rrrasio provided and the publio for their patronage. Tbe collection taken upby the nurses in aid of the Furnishing Fund of the Hospital amounted 1 ! to £8 3s 33. This amount will be subsidised by the Government to the* extent of 24s in the £.
A meeting of the Executive Committee of ihe St. Patrick's Day Sports Association was held on Saturday evening, Mr H. O'Leary presiding over a good attendance. 'lhe resignations of Messrs J. Savage, 0. H. Savage and J. Tredor were accepted. Messrs T» Hounslow, E. O'Connor, G. Goruiiok, T. W. Pickett, P. Johanhgd, J. Falooner, jnr. D. Falooner/. and F. Grayj were elected members of the Associatiou. Mr J. 0. Ewington, on behalf of the Park Committee, waited on tho Committed and asked for financial assistance in the erection of the Tea Kiosk in the Park. It was decided to vote the sum of £3. The programme for the sports on St. Patriok's Day, 1907, as submitted by the Programme Committee, was adopted. The amount- to te given in prizes is £152 Ba, as against £145 last year. It was decided to affiliate with the Wairarapa Athletic Union.

Tho Wairarapa Athletic Association notify Sports Oluhs that unless they are affiliated to the Association competitors at their meetings will be disqualified from competing at meetings held under the New Zealand Athletic Union rules.

Mr John Tait notifies elsewhere that he will continue to carry on the business of builder and contractor in tbe premises next tbe Waipoua Bridge. Mr Tait is prepared to submit plans and estimates and to execute all orders with despacob.
In an inset circulated with tbia issue Mr J. 3. Niool announces that he has received instructions from a manufacturer's agent to sell by public auction a big consignment of general drapery, and every description of foot-wear. Over 1,000 boots uni shoes are tc be sold, and the drapery is a speoialiy selected consignment. The sale will commence oa Wednesday next, and will >be continued again on Saturday.
