Mr Andrew Carnegie, in presenting the University at Princeton, •with an artificial lake three and ahalf miles long, and from 400 to 1,000 feet wide, compared football with aquatic apnrta. He declared that the speataole of educated youths rolling over one another in the dirt was not gontlemanly. The undergraduates expressed dissent from Mr Curaegie'e views.
