BRITISH PREFERENCE PROPOSALS PASSED. Received December 6, 9.45 p.m. OTTAWA, December 6. The British preference proposals were paseed in the Dominion House. The Hon. W. S. Fielding, Minister of Finance, admitted that the Government were unable to app'y the intermediate tariff until the most favoured nations' treaties were disposed of.
