MISS MARIE NARELLE.
Of Mies Marie Nareile, who is to sing in the Masterton Town Hall, on Tuesday, December 11th, the Town and Country Journal says: The first concert given in Australia by Miss Marie Nareile, after her return from a triumphal tour of the United Kingdom and America, naturally attracted au immense and enthusiastic audience to the Sydney Town Hall. The popular soprano reoeived quite an ovation, and was rewarded with quantities of lovely flowers. Her programme numbers inoluded the "Jewel Song" from "Faust," "The Exile's Return" (Needham), "Still wie die Naoht" (Bohmi, "The Last Rose of Summer" (Moore}, and "O'DonneJl Aboo" (MoCann), to which she generously added a number of encores in response f,o overwhelming applause. Miss Nnrelle's style has certainly gained in breadth, finish and artistio completeness, while her voice is as rich, pure and sympathetic as ever." The bo> plan will open at "The Talkertes" on Friday, December 7th, at 9 a.m.
