The Postmaster notifies that mails for tha Commonwealth of Australia, Ooylon, India, China, Japau, Stra'ts Settlements, also £|oul:h Africa Continent of Europe and United Kingdom, from Auckland, per Manuka, will oloae at Maafcertou on Saturday, Deueiuber Bt.h, at 5.30 a.m. Commencing on December 7th, the direct steamer from Wellington for Sydney will be despatched every third Friday instead of every third Saturday, so as to make oouneution with the Suez mail leaving Sydney on Tuesday afternoon. The dates of despatch of mails can be arrived at by noting the fact that, it will be the first Friday In every oase after the San Franoiaoo mail is due.
