SERIOUS COACH ACCIDENT.

NAPIER, Deoember i. A serious coach accident ooourred at a spot about five miles beyond Rissington this morning. The Puketltiri coach, driven by Samuel Lind, and containing Ave passengers, capsized over a bank, »nd rolled down for about 12 or 15 feet, bomg then stopped by a fence. The five noises drawing the coaob bolted when going down bill, owing to the swingle tree breaking. The driver, a very oaredul whip, did all in his power to get the horses under control again, but unfortunately in trying to avoid a timber viagon coming in the opposite direction, a collision took place, and the coach went over the bank as reported. One of the passengers, named Grindell, had hfs leg broken on the previous evoninm, and ho sustained severe' bruises to his shoulder and other injuries. Another passenger, named Hansen, had his collar-bone broken,' while a third, named Robert Stevenson, has a badly bruised knee. The driver sustaiued severe bruises about tbo face and body..
