INVERCARGILL, Dec. 4. Among the passengers by the Warrimoo was the Chinese Commissioner Hwang Hon Cheng, who has come to enquire into the condition of the flhicese in the colonies. Oonaalates are to be established to look after the interests of their countrymen, The Commissioner remarked to a Southland Times reporter that China was the natural market for many of the staple jproducts of Australia and New Zealand. From New Zealand China oould take unlimited quantities of timber, butter and meat. Asked whether his object was to enquire whether there was an outJet in the colonies for Ohiua'a surplus population, the Commissioner aaid the question was not odb that he oould answer.
