MISS MARIE NARELLE.
Miss Marie Narelle will give a concert in the Masterlon Town Hall on Tuesday, Deoember 11th. Of a oonuert given in Melbourne the Melbourne Punch says:--"A magnificent reception Hwaited Maiie Nardle at the Town Hall on Saturday night, when the returned Australian singer oommenoed her 'star tour' of Australasia, under the management of Mr Frederic Shipman. The largest concert hall in tne Commonwealth was completely filled fcy those who seized the flrkt opportunity to do honour to a representative Australian who had succeeded 'on the other side,' and the wife of the GovernorGeneral, by her presence, with a big Government House party, lifted the splendid welcome above the level of a provincial demonstration of pleasure, pride and patriotism. Miss Narelle was loaded with beautiful flowe*9 after her first song, and the congratulations uulminated in cheering. In all probability, the honest roar from the back of tbe hall was the 'sweetest music' to the ears of the dark-eyed lady, who was back in her own country, and among her own people, with trophies won in 'far foreign fields.' " The box plan will ooen at "The Talkeries," on Friday, Deoember 7th. at 9 a.m.
