MASTERTON SOUTH BAND CONCERT.
The newly - formed Mastertori South. Band have decided to give a oonoerfc in the Town Hall to-morrow evening in aid of tbe instrument fond. Ihe programme, which has been carefully drawn up, is an attractive one. Mr J. Parker, who has the reputation of being the leading cornet player of New Zealand will play "Steifmark" and "'The Holy City." Mr S. J. Johnston, a Queensland tenor, will sir/g "Come Beloved" (fiocolomini) and "My Pretty Jane" (Bishop), the former with 'cello obligato by Mr H. Inne. Au exhibition of trick and fancy roller skatiug will be given by Mr Fred dole, rrho bolds the championship of Auckland. This should prove a great attraction Items will also bo given by Messrs A. iNicol, A. Nash, S. Ralph, F. Oole, W. Iggulden, Misses E. Jsyoe, P. Millar, Gougb, E. Judd, and Mrs Edwards, Master Gougb and Professor Karl. The Masterton Orchestral Society will also assist at tbe entertainment, which promises to be a decided success.
