MASTERTON RIFLE VOLUNTEERS.
'ANNUAL ENCAMPMENT. The Masteiton. Kitle Volunteers commenced their annual ween's eu campment on the Showgrounds, lfiist evening. 'lhe-corps paraded; at the Drill Hall at 7 o'clock, and were marched to the anowßtoiinds under the command of, Captain Charters. It can no! tie ascertained set how many men will attend tha camp, but Captain Charters expects to have about 50 men under canvas. The work to be carried out daring the encampment will be of « vory prao--ticable nature, and provided; the feather remains ,flne, the week mider cauvaa should prove most instructive to the men. Colonel Webb, Aotiig Commander ' of tie Forces, will arrive from the North to-day, and together with Major Joyce, he will inspeoj; tha <OE>mp this afternoon, On Sunday morning the Chaplain j Captain of the corps (Rev. A. M. Johnson) will conduct Churoh service on the grounds, and it is expected that, a large number of the Greytown Volunteers will be present at the camp for the service. On Sunday afternoon the corps will ■give an exhibition io afretoher and Jtfaxin) gun work.
