NOTICE ia hereby given of the intention of the Board at a special meeting to be held on the 22nd December, 1906. by way of special order, under the provisions of Section 2 of the River Boards A;t Amendment Act 1891, and the Bating Act 1882 to make a general rate of l-64th of a penny in th« pound on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the district, as appearing on the Valuation Roll for the time being in force. Such rate shall be for one year, commenced on the Ist day of Apiil, 1906, and ending on 31st day of March, 1907, payable in one sum on the 26th day of January, 1907, at the County Office, Tmui, where the Rate Bock will be open for inspection.
