(From Oir Orfix Correspondent.; The anuusl raooUng of the Eketahuna County Council was held yesterday. Ors Moss, Dawson, ?Redpatb, Pitnaithloy, Lowes, and Davey were prfcsent. Or Moss .was re-elected obairmau for the ensuing year. Leave of absence was granted Or Griffith. The' following tesolution was passed—"That seeing the [settlement between the Town Board and County Council is likely to te difficult owing to the extremely oomplex nature of the law pertaining to these matters the Board b9 asked to join the Oounci! in their request to the Government for a commission; the Council boiag of opinion that it will be in the bast interests of the Town Board and Oounoil an] would bo final."
